The pinky finger story...
K so 3 weeks ago I hit my hand on the pedium in primary, shows you how great I can lead =) I just barely skimmed it but anyway I felt a prick in my pinky, I looked at it and looked and searched for the splinter, nothing, but still a painful bump and poke, so russ helped me try to dig it out a day later, we found nothing. So I just cleaned it and put neosporin on it day after day, it never got better ! So it started to just stay cut and never heal, yesterday i looked at it and noticed it was kinda numb and then I compared it to my other pinky, WOW it was way swollen. Well three days I go I noticed the same thing happening to another finger, oh my! So I called the dr and went in yesterday.
He couldn't figure it out, so he stuck me with the numbing needle in my little pinky, it filled with fluid, so now it was 3 times the size as my normal one. He pulled all the dead skin and infection out of my crease in my pinky. I tried not to look and then when I did I almost passed out, which is pretty common for me anyway, but that office room was SO warm! Ouch, so anyway my pinkie is all bandaged up and when the numbness wore off I felt pain, oh my like throbbing pain, wow. It has settled down today, not so much pain, but I am definitely nervous to take off the bandage, ouch and ewww! So fun, so my other finger is just being watched carefully to see if it happens again. What is wrong with my fingers, I need them or at least they get in the way, constant bumping of the hurt area. Ouchies on hands are not fun!
