First Day of School Tomorrow, notes to the kids...
Leilani,
I hope this year is so fun for you! I hope you make the best
of every opportunity and accept every challenge that comes. You are strong,
beautiful, smart and talented. Don’t let your frown get in your way sometimes,
pick it up and smile. I love you sweet Leilani. Happy 5th Grade!! I
will miss you, thank you for all of your help.

I can't believe you are in the 5th
Grade already. 5th grade is a great year. You will be doing all
kinds of neat things, and learning how to get ready for Middle School.
You need to remember to be a good friend to all the kids, be kind and helpful
to your teacher. Remember to be a good example. You never know who
is watching you and what you are doing. It may be someone who will
one day join the Church because they liked the way you acted and did
stuff. Have FUN. Smile alot. Be happy and be glad
that you are growing up into a beautiful young woman. When you get
discouraged, just remember that you are a Child of God, and All things are
possible with God. I love you very, very much and am so proud of
you. Keep writing your cool stories down on paper. Keep a journal
of all the things you are doing and feeling. Remember to Pray and know
that the Holy Ghost with help you with anything that you need. Have a
great year!

My sweet girl, you are going to do awesome in 2nd
grade. Your teacher is going to love you , everyone loves you. You are bursting
with happiness, thank you for being such a great girl. I know you will have a
hard time every once in awhile, just remember never give up, you are strong,
beautiful, brave and talented, always smile and choose the right. I’ll miss

Second Grade, WOW. I know you will
have a fun year. You are such a fun girl. Just remember that even
class time can be fun, learning can be fun, but we need to be considerate of
our teacher and the other kids in our class. Some kids will need your
help, be on the lookout for someone who needs a smile or someone to be their

You are my teeter totter boy, so happy and sometimes so
grumpy. I know you love school and I am so excited for you to go on Monday.
Remember to listen to your teachers, try new things and be kind to everyone.
